Let me start this off by saying I’m not much of a fan of Rush Limbaugh. He’s such a cheerleader for the Republican Party, I just sort of tune him out. It’s kind of like church. Once you’ve heard the same tired mantra enough times, you go numb to it.

Not being a follower, I was surprised by the passion and hate with which the liberal media has gone after him because of this Sandra Fluke nonsense. When I opened CNN today, I was greeted by a big headline that said “More Limbaugh stations, advertisers jump ship.”

When I read the article I saw a grand total of two stations have dropped him. One was a shitty AM station in western Massachusetts that probably reaches more cows than people and the other is an even shittier AM station in Hilo, Hawaii.

I wonder how Rush is going to cope with the loss of those two huge markets. They must represent almost a full fraction of one percent of the 15 million people who listen to his show every week.

I don’t remember there being any liberal backlash when Bill Maher called Sara Palin a dumb twat and a cunt, and the same politicians who go on Maher’s show are the ones demanding Rush Limbaugh be taken off the air. If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s hypocrisy, and both Rush Limbaugh and the leftist media should just kiss and make up. After all, they have more in common than they realize.
