First off, I don’t like Chick-fil-A, and for the life of me I can’t understand why people rave about their food. It’s not that good, but it costs twice as much as the other chains. It also aggravates me that they’re closed on Sundays.

I talk to God all the time when I’m drinking and huffing paint, and he said that day of rest on Sunday nonsense doesn’t apply anymore. He also said there’s going to be a major terrorist attack on the east coast soon, and I should plan to flee to Ohio, but that’s another revelation for another day.

Chick-fil-A has been in the news lately because its president, Dan Cathy, angered the left-wing media by saying the chain doesn’t support gay marriage. Politicians and professional agitators have been quick to capitalize, and Chicago Mayor, Rahm Emanuel, even threatened to block the company from expanding in Chicago because its values “are not Chicago values.”

Chicago values? More Americans have been killed in Chicago this year than in Afghanistan. I understand the mayor is a slimy little pimp just trying to pander to his wealthy leftist supporters, but I think he has more to worry about than thought crimes.

In a nutshell, that’s my beef with this whole issue. I support gay marriage, but as a libertarian, I don’t stomp my feet and throw a fit if someone disagrees with me. I don’t give a shit if you’re tolerant or intolerant. As an adult, you’re entitled to your own beliefs, and the government has no right to punish or reward people or businesses simply for those beliefs.
